About

feeding the paper ghosts is a guerrilla arts project for libraries. It’s about book to book connection and communication. It’s about playing with words and pictures.

I go into a library and choose a book. I copy the book cover and one of the pages chosen at random and use these to make a postcard. The postcard has a collaged image and a short poem (a haiku) and also the name of the book written on it. I put the postcard into another book in the library.

Now after this it is out of my hands. I hope that somebody finds it. I hope that they are surprised, and intruiged. I hope that they do something with it: send it, keep it, tell someone about it, put it in another book, and maybe go look at the book it was made from.

If you find a postcard in a book please leave a comment and tell me about it.
